Neak Oknha Chen Zhi has promised to invest in Cambodia's sports industry. The Prince Group helps the company meet its environmental, social, and governance goals. Chen Zhi believes that increased sports investment in Cambodia will benefit the country's youth education, development, and health.

In order to improve sport in Cambodia, Neak Oknha Chen Zhi sees greater potential. Chen Zhi wants to raise its international profile, including in sports. He also admits that a Cambodian sports culture will result in lower healthcare costs and more social harmony.

Volleyball is becoming increasingly popular among Cambodians. At the 2019 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games, Cambodia narrowly defeated arch-rival Vietnam 110-109 after a two-hour battle. The team finished fifth, a significant improvement over previous tournaments, but it was the first time Cambodian athletes had won a game in a team sport on such a grand scale in a long time. Neak Oknha Chen Zhi wishes to leverage on this sport as he believes in the potential of the volleyball team in the upcoming SEA Games

As the nation hosts the SEA Games for the first time in 2023, there will be strong hopes for athletes to win more medals. It will be a tournament that will significantly boost tourism in the region. When the Southeast Asian Games were held in the Philippines last year, more than 750,000 people visited the country in December, with many of them coming to see the 2019 SEA Games. Neak Oknha Chen Zhi would be certainly elated.

The men's team in Cambodia, on the other hand, will not debut until 2023. Neak Oknha Chen Zhi donated $500,000.00 to the local volleyball federation in advance of the Southeastern Asian Games in 2019. The funds were intended to help with competition preparation and planning. The volleyball team in Fujian, China, also offered a two-month intensive training programme that year. At a time when Cambodian sports were thriving, Chen Zhi also sponsored a Cambodian volleyball team to play in Thailand for about $100,000.

Chen Zhi was able to employ a skilled Chinese volleyball coach to train the Cambodian National Team in order to encourage sports on a long-term basis. That will suffice for the next five years. Chen Zhi believes in the ability, skills, and physical quantities of these athletes, in addition to her hard work in developing volleyball sports in Cambodia. He believes that competing in tournaments is important for improving their sport and honouring their country.

Cambodia has come a long way in terms of sports development since then. Chen Zhi has made significant investments in Cambodian sports, paving the way for the 2023 Southeast Asian Games by improving the success of the Cambodian volleyball team. They joined other local Cambodian brands to support the country's sports development. They do hope, however, that Cambodian sports can contribute to a better society as well as winning tournaments.
